The following shows major milestones in the history of the wiki.

• Monday, July 15, 2019: The Holidays Wiki was created, with holiday pages starting to be created.
• Monday, November 11, 2019: A page for the year 2020 was created.
• Thursday, November 14, 2019: Pages for years after the year 2020 started to be created.
• Wednesday, November 27, 2019: A page for the then-current year 2019 was created.
• Saturday, November 30, 2019: Pages for the years 2000 to 2018 were created.
• Saturday, December 7, 2019: Creation of future year pages stopped at the year 2199.
• Tuesday, December 10, 2019: Pages for years before the year 2000 started to be created.
• Friday, December 20, 2019: Creation of historical year pages stopped at the year that the Declaration of Independence was signed (1776).
• Friday, January 3, 2020: Creation of future year pages continued starting at the year 2200.
• Thursday, January 23, 2020: Creation of future year pages stopped at the year 2800.
• Friday, January 24, 2020: Holiday pages started to have links to the corresponding year pages.
• Saturday, February 1, 2020: Year pages started to transclude dominical letter templates and be categorized into century categories.
• Monday, February 17, 2020: Creation of future year pages continued starting at the year 2801.
• Sunday, February 23, 2020: Creation of future year pages stopped at the year 3000.
• Saturday, April 11, 2020: A page for the year that the Gregorian calendar was introduced (1582) was created.
• Sunday, April 12, 2020: Pages for Gregorian years before the Declaration of Independence (1775 and earlier) started to be created.
• Wednesday, April 15, 2020: Creation of historical year pages stopped at the first full year of the Gregorian calendar (1583), and a new bot account (HolidaysBot) was created.
• Friday, April 17, 2020: Century pages started to be created.
• Sunday, May 3, 2020: A template and a few modules were imported from Wikipedia, with the MediaWiki:Common.css page then being created later on the same day.
• Saturday, May 9, 2020: A logo and a favicon for the wiki were uploaded.
• Thursday, May 14, 2020: Documentation subpages started to be created.
• Thursday, June 11, 2020: Creation of future year pages continued starting at the year 3001.
• Wednesday, June 17, 2020: A customized sidebar for the wiki was created at MediaWiki:Sidebar.
• Tuesday, August 11, 2020: Creation of future year pages up to the year 4000 was completed.
• Sunday, August 16, 2020: Pages for Julian years before the year 1582 started to be created.
• Friday, October 2, 2020: A "to do" list (archived yearly) was created.
• Monday, October 19, 2020: Creation of Julian year pages going back to the first year of the Julian calendar (45 BC) was completed.
• Sunday, October 25, 2020: Holocene Era default sort keys started to be added.
• Thursday, December 17, 2020: Easter-related templates started to have links to the corresponding year pages.
• Friday, December 25, 2020: Holidays on year pages started to be placed inside a {{Box}} template.
• Saturday, February 20, 2021: Pages about calendar concepts started to be created.
• Tuesday, March 16, 2021: Year pages started to transclude the {{Julian calendar}} or {{Gregorian calendar}} template.
• Saturday, April 17, 2021: Year pages started to be categorized based on how many Friday the 13ths are there in each year.
• Saturday, May 8, 2021: Holiday pages started to transclude monthly calendar templates.
• Wednesday, July 14, 2021: Year pages from 1 to 4000 started to have redirects from "year AD" and "AD year".
• Wednesday, August 18, 2021: Century categories started to link to the preceding and following centuries within a navigation template.
• Saturday, April 23, 2022: Year pages started to transclude the {{Calendar}} template instead of the {{Julian calendar}} or {{Gregorian calendar}} template.
• Monday, June 20, 2022: Dominical letter templates started to have tabs for both the landscape and the portrait versions.
• Friday, August 26, 2022: A page for the dominical letter concept was created.
• Thursday, March 16, 2023: The history page was created here.
• Monday, March 20, 2023: Extension of future year pages by another 6 millennia to the year 10000 has started.
• c. July 2023 (roughly): Extension of future year pages by another 6 millennia to the year 10000 will have been completed.
